 established TOWNES + architects, P.A. in May 2005 as a full-service architectural firm offering architecture, planning, and interior design services. Ben received his Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and is a Florida and Alabama registered architect with 47 years of professional experience at all levels of planning, design, production, construction, and project management. He was previously a member and Chairman of the Pensacola Architectural Review Board representing the West Florida Historic Preservation, Inc. Ben was named the “Architect of the Year” by the American Sub-Contractor’s Association of Northwest Florida in 2001 and 2003.
 

 is a Registered Architect with over thirty years of experience in both architectural practice and architectural education. Mike has worked with Ben Townes in the past, collaborating on numerous architectural projects throughout the Pensacola area. In addition to his work with Townes + architects, Mike has served on the faculty at Pensacola State College as the Program Coordinator for their Architectural Design and Construction Technology AS program. Prior to joining the faculty at PSC, Mike served Pensacola State College in the capacity of College Architect and Building Official. Mike has extensive experience in commercial, governmental, institutional and educational project design and management.
