Beulah Fire Station

  The Beulah Fire Station is a 14,500 square foot fire station to be constructed at a County-owned site located at 6400 West Nine Mile Road. This new fire station will be replacing an old fire station at the same location.

The scope of the project includes space programming, schematic design, design development, construction document preparation, bidding administration, and construction administration.

The new facility will include 4 drive thru apparatus bays suitable for ladder trucks and an enclosed bunker gear storage for 30 full size PPE lockers. On the west side flanking the apparatus bays, there is a secure lobby, training/conference room, fitness room, kitchen, and day room. On the east side of the apparatus bay is the sleeping quarters, consisting of 8 bunkrooms and 2 officer’s quarters. In addition, space for Emergency Medical Services operations is also provided in the facility.
